GANGSTA SUMMER 2016 CAMPAIGN

GANGSTA Qπш Robert Kupisz campaign by Marcin Tyszka Summer 2016

The photos for Robert Kupisz's latest image campaign were created in cooperation with the world-renowned photographer Marcin Tyszka for the third time.

“What I appreciate about Marcin is his professionalism. By inviting him to work on the session once again, I had a guarantee that I would be able to realize my vision. Marcin charms beautifully with light. With appropriate lighting, he made even such an avant-garde place as No. 4, which I chose for the shooting, look like a palace. I really wanted this contrast to be visible in the photos, and when I look at the final effect, I know that we managed to achieve it.”

The session was attended by one of the most respected Polish models, Ola Rudnicka, who, despite her very tight schedule, found time and flew from Paris, where she currently lives and works, especially for the session. Ola has cooperated with brands such as: Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, Chanel, Miu Miu and Celine. Her photos could be seen on the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE and Numéro.

"I had the opportunity to work with Ola on the Wanted summer 2013 collection show. Already then I saw great potential in her and I was pleased to cooperate with her on my latest project." – says the designer. "My idea for the GANGSTA campaign was to present both women's and men's silhouettes on a girl, so I wanted a model with a neutral beauty to take part in the campaign, who could be transformed from a beautiful woman into a gangster."

The result of the session are photos in which the model with tattoos acting as makeup presents both unisex sports silhouettes, strong masculine stylings and contrasting super feminine dresses inspired by the style of black music icons. Oversized sweatshirts with fringes, loose pants, shorts, a sequined coat and oversize t-shirts made of crushed cotton, characteristic of Robert Kupisz, are just some of the proposals shown in the styles. The colors of the collection are strongly related to the QПШ brand - gray, beige, dirty pink, white, black and silver dominate.

Women's high-heeled sandals, emphasizing the femininity of the Gangsta collection, are available from the Kazar brand, with which Robert has been cooperating for several seasons. NIKE AIR FORCE 1 sports footwear is available from the online store www.WorldBox.pl.

The session took place in a tenement house from 1914 located at ul. Nowogrodzka 4 in Warsaw, which is regaining its former glory thanks to the renovation carried out by the Nieporęcka company. No4 gave its space to artists for the duration of the renovation - exhibitions, music events, photo sessions and other art events take place on several floors of the building. The building houses one of the most interestingly designed architectural offices in Warsaw, which is currently working on its renovation under the supervision of the conservator. The studio also houses an exhibition of the author's collection of furniture from the last century belonging to the smallna gallery.
