'89 A/W 2020/21 is a very personal collection, referring to the times, when brand’s designer Robert Kupisz, as a teenage resident of a tiny Polish town, dreamed of a career in fashion business.

In 1989, a year of a monumental changes in polish politics, Robert sent his designs to a global sport brand with hopes of cooperation, of which nothing came out. "In retrospect, I think I was quite lucky those projects were rejected then, because after 30 years I can realize them with my own brand," says Robert Kupisz. "The turn of the 80s and 90s are the times of my youth, and the clothes I wore at the time fit current trends. The '89 collection is a tribute to the stage of life that shaped me and led me to the point where now I can realize my dreams from that period” - he adds.

Clothes from the '89 collection is a modern interpretation of the clothes characteristic of that period. The collection includes aged high-waisted jeans, crash tracksuits or dresses, hand-dyed flannel shirts, sweatshirts with a characteristic 89 print and the ubiquitous logo. Brand offers designs that perform several functions, e.g. sports dresses, which, depending on styling, can be sweatshirts as well as modern work or evening dresses. It’s an idea that speaks to conscious consumer who is thinking about sustainability and is looking for multifunctional clothes that can be styled in several ways. As always, the entire production is made in EU in small local manufactories in Poland, maintaining the highest standards of European quality.
