The Summer 2022 ROOTS collection premiere took place on June 23, 2021. The collection, which is already available for sale in the boutiques and at robertkupisz.com, is illustrated by atmospheric photos by Martyna Mierzejewska and a film by Paweł Grabowski and WOW Pictures.

ROOTS is the story of our roots, a tribute to the ethnic and cultural diversity that is the origin of humanity. “I've always been fascinated by cultures from around the world. In my prior collections, I often delved into topics related to a specific group. I was inspired by, among others, the culture of Highlanders, the Roma and Latinos. This time I decided to go deeper." - Robert Kupisz says about his inspiration. “Some time ago I was interested in photography album of traditional body painting among African tribes. This art is one of the first forms of expression. Body painting was used in various ceremonies to express emotions, status, and among certain ethnic groups it was adopted as a kind of everyday outfit. This inspired me to create clothes that in a modernized form would give us the opportunity to emphasize our individuality and express ourselves through clothing. ROOTS is, in a way, a continuation of the NOW collection for the Winter 2021/22 season, which was dominated by colors and prints with animal motifs. This subject, these patterns, these colors have not exhausted my imagination, they still excite me." - adds the Qπш brand designer.

In ROOTS, in addition to a continuation of animal motifs, we find prints inspired by body paintings, which were printed on fabrics and knitwear, and became the collection's leitmotif. The prints also include tribal masks and a predatory cat - a symbol of strength and courage. The collection is dominated by earth colors: browns and beiges combined with more intense colors: orange, blue, yellow, and red.

The diversity of the ROOTS collection means that everyone will find something to their taste. The offer surprises with its multitude of colors, patterns, and prints, airy fabrics and recognizable "Kupisz-style" levity.

Robert has gotten us used to the fact that most items in the brand's collection offer a universal fit and are unisex. It's no different this time! The collection's flagship products are airy, multi-colored shirts. The collection would not be complete without loose sweatshirts with prints and characteristic fringes, denim trousers with a lowered crotch and a wide range of shorts. For ladies, the Designer offers light, sensually enveloping dresses which, with the right accessories and shoes, will look great both on the beach and in the city. Robert, known for his love of spending holidays at the Polish seaside, also thought about the necessities for colder days. The ROOTS collection also includes customer favorites, like soft flannel shirts, a checked coat, nylon jackets and vests, a raincoat, as well as colorful hats and beanies. The fabrics are primarily soft, high-quality cotton, certified sustainable viscose, nylon, and jeans made of a combination of cotton and recycled cotton. The entire collection was produced in Poland.

The photos showcasing the atmosphere of the ROOTS collection were taken by Martyna Mierzejewska, who specializes in street fashion photography. Her photos from international Fashion Weeks were published in Esquire Singapore, among others. This time Martyna faced a new challenge and took pictures on the Baltic beach. The session was created in Robert's favorite town of Jurata, with which he feels a deep bond.

The pictures are complemented by a film by Paweł Grabowski from WOW Pictures.
