The new Orient by Qπш Robert Kupisz collection for the spring / summer 2021 season was officially premiered on June 19, 2020 in the form of an image session by photographer Agata Serge.

"ORIENT collection is a bit like my escape from quarantine" - laughs designer Robert Kupisz. "Japanese art and philosophy has fascinated me for years. The isolation of this island for many centuries meant that their culture is very individual, which appeals to me in a special way. I planned to visit this country, but due to the pandemic it is currently impossible, so I decided to go on a trip of imagination and still present Japanese orient in the new collection."

The theme of the collection are graphics inspired by Japanese pop art and the alphabet.  "I was inspired by Japanese font, because the characters in this alphabet are beautiful graphics, and those written with a brush look like sophisticated tattoos. Japanese pop art has been setting trends and inspiring artists around the world for years. Saturated with colors and a characteristic graphic line, it inspired me to print in the Orient collection" - says the designer.

Clothes from the Orient collection are soft and extremely comfortable, and at the same time unobviously sensual both in male and female version. Kupisz's man is a modern warrior dressed with a sweeping kimono, a suit inspired by Japanese design or leather pants and a voluminous hooded t-shirt. The woman is wrapped in soft, flowing fabrics, gently emphasizing the advantages of the figure: the beauty of the arms, back, neck, shapely legs. It is hard to take your eyes off the silk kimono dresses with a large cut in the color of cherry blossoms. Supima silky cotton dresses and T-shirts wonderfully emphasize the softness of the movements. Long and short envelope skirts are suitable for virtually any occasion depending on accessories. As usual, there are plenty of sports sweatshirts, t-shirts, pants and shorts in the collection. Sweatshirts, jackets and fringed skirts are an interesting proposition. The color proposition is saturated, pure pink and blue, gray, black and white. The fabrics used are primarily ecological etamine, silk, soft, high-quality viscose, organic cotton jeans, and high-quality cotton knitted fabrics, including supima.

The author of the photos for the image campaign promoting the Orient by Qπш Robert Kupisz collection is Agata Serge. "Color, dynamism, self-confidence, which are the hallmarks of the new Robert Kupisz collection, required unique scenery. In creating it, I decided to illuminate the stage with a projector light, which gives great opportunities. By duplicating the unique graphic designs accompanying the collection, we moved the world of the Orient and created a campaign that stood out from the others and thus emphasized the brand's distinctiveness maintained over the years." - says the photographer.

The Orient SS2021 collection is now available for pre-order online robertkupisz.com. In labelled boutiques located in Warsaw, Gdynia and Poznań, on the showroom.pl and moliera2.com platforms and in multibrand boutiques in Krakow cooperating with the brand, Katowice, Wrocław and Kielce, the Orient collection will be available from 1 July.
